Second-Generation Quick Release Plate Design

The RS 4 Pro features an enhanced dual-layered quick release plate system, simplifying the process of mounting and balancing your camera. The newly designed horizontal plate allows for faster transitions to vertical shooting. A fine-tuning knob lets you adjust the tilt axis to move your camera forward or backward. Additionally, the upper plate now includes placement guides to ensure secure camera mounting.

Second-Generation Automated Axis Locks

With the RS 4 Pro, powering off the gimbal has never been easier. Simply press and hold the power button to unlock the three axes and allow the gimbal to expand automatically, ready for use in just two seconds. A single press of the power button locks the axes and enters sleep mode, enhancing efficiency for transport or storage. This updated design minimizes gaps when locked, further reducing gimbal shake.

Wireless Shutter Control and Enhanced ActiveTrack Pro

The RS 4 Pro supports wireless shutter control via Dual-Mode Bluetooth, streamlining your workflow. After initial Bluetooth pairing, you can control video and photo shooting with the stabilizer’s record button. Previously paired cameras automatically reconnect, eliminating the need for control cables.

The new ActiveTrack Pro system offers unprecedented accuracy and responsiveness. It directly reads images from the camera built into the Focus Pro LiDAR Autofocus, negating the need for the Ronin Image Transmitter. Monitor and frame subjects directly on the RS 4 Pro’s OLED touchscreen, with the optional LiDAR unit projecting 76,800 ranging points over a 20-meter area.

Integrated Controls and Car Mount Mode

Switching between modes on the RS 4 Pro is effortless with the new gimbal mode switch. Choose between Pan follow, Pan and Tilt follow, and FPV modes, with customizable FPV settings for 3D Roll 360, Portrait, or Custom modes. Additional intelligent features include motion-lapse, track, and panorama. The trigger button can be set to FPV mode, enabling the three axes to follow the grip’s movement when held down.

The car mount mode is specifically designed to optimize stabilization for vehicle vibrations and wind resistance, ensuring steady footage while driving.

Enhanced Battery and Fast Charging

The RS 4 Pro’s battery grip now has a cartridge design for easier battery swaps and more compact storage. It can be charged separately from the gimbal, offering an extended runtime of up to 13 hours for all-day shooting. The battery supports 18W PD fast charging, reducing charge time to just 1.5 hours. It can also be used while charging, ensuring continuous power for the RS 4 Pro.
